Billing and Plans

ToolTrack AI offers two plans to fit organizations of different sizes. You can start on the Free plan and upgrade to Pro as your team grows.

Plan Comparison

Free Plan:

  • Track up to 10 tools
  • Up to 5 team members
  • Full access to the audit log
  • Onboarding templates
  • Basic compliance tracking

Pro Plan:

  • Unlimited tools
  • Unlimited team members
  • Everything in Free, plus priority support
  • Advanced compliance reporting
  • CSV export of audit data

The Free plan is a great way to get started and evaluate ToolTrack AI. Most organizations upgrade to Pro once they exceed the Free plan limits or need the full compliance feature set.

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the Billing section. Only the Owner can access billing.
  3. Click Upgrade to Pro.
  4. You will be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to enter your payment details.
  5. Once payment is confirmed, your organization is upgraded immediately.

Managing Your Subscription

All billing is handled through Stripe. From the Billing section in Settings, click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe customer portal. From there you can:

  • Update your payment method — Change your credit card or billing details.
  • View invoices — Download past invoices for your records.
  • Cancel your subscription — Downgrade back to the Free plan. Your data is preserved, but you will be limited to Free plan caps.

What Happens When You Downgrade

If you cancel Pro and return to the Free plan, your existing data is not deleted. However, if you have more than 10 tools or 5 members, you will not be able to add new ones until you are within the Free plan limits. Existing tools and members remain accessible.

Questions About Billing

Billing questions can be directed to your organization's Owner, who has access to the Stripe portal and payment history.
