Welcome to ToolTrack AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ToolTrack AI platform at tooltrack.ai (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
ToolTrack AI is a SaaS tool management platform that helps IT teams track software tools, manage access requests, handle onboarding and offboarding, and maintain compliance records. The Service includes an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Organization Owners and Admins are responsible for managing team member access within their organization.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
4. Plans and Payment
ToolTrack AI offers Free and paid plans. The Free plan includes limited features as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can manage your subscription and cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including tool records, team information, access requests, and audit logs. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. Data Export
You may export your audit log data as CSV at any time. For full data export requests, contact us at hello@tooltrack.ai.
7. AI Assistant
The AI assistant provides information based on your organization's data. AI responses are for informational purposes and should not be treated as legal, financial, or compliance advice. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated information before acting on it.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolTrack AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, during which time you may request an export.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal resolution.
