Managing Your Profile
Your profile in ToolTrack AI contains your personal information and is visible to other members of your organization. You can update some details yourself, while others are managed by the system.
Accessing Your Profile
- Click on your avatar or name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- You will see your profile information on the Settings page.
What You Can Edit
- Name — Update your first and last name at any time. This is the name that appears throughout ToolTrack AI, including in team lists, audit logs, and access requests. Click the name field, make your changes, and click Save.
- Avatar — Upload a profile photo or change your existing one. Click the avatar image and select a new file from your computer. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF. The image will be cropped to a circle for display.
What You Cannot Edit
- Email address — Your email is read-only and cannot be changed from the profile page. Your email is tied to your authentication method (such as a magic link) and is set when your account is created. If you need to change your email, contact your organization's Owner or Admin for assistance.
Tips
- Use your real name so teammates can easily identify you in the tool.
- A profile photo helps others recognize you quickly, especially in larger organizations.
- Changes to your name take effect immediately across the entire application.
Need to Change Your Email?
Since email addresses are linked to authentication, changing your email requires administrative action. Reach out to your organization's Owner, who can help coordinate the change.
