Viewing My Tools
The My Tools page shows every tool you have been granted access to. It is your personal directory of approved software -- a quick way to find the tools you use day to day.
Getting There
Click My Tools in the sidebar. The page loads a list of tools where your access request was approved by an Admin or Owner.
What You See for Each Tool
Each entry on the My Tools page displays:
- Tool name -- The name of the software as it appears in the catalog.
- Your role -- The access level you were granted: Viewer, Editor, or Admin.
- Department -- The team that owns the tool.
- Status -- Whether the tool is Active, Under Review, or Deprecated.
- Website link -- A direct link to the tool's website so you can open it in one click.
- Compliance badges -- The same color-coded badges shown in the main catalog (review status and data classification).
Visiting a Tool's Website
If the tool has a website URL saved in the catalog, you will see a Visit Website link or button on the card. Clicking it opens the tool's site in a new browser tab. This is the fastest way to jump from ToolTrack AI into the tools you actually use.
If a Tool Is Missing
If you expect to see a tool on this page but it is not listed, check the following:
- Request still pending -- Your access request may not have been reviewed yet. Check the Access Requests page to see its status.
- Request rejected -- If your request was rejected, the tool will not appear here. Review the rejection reason and submit a new request if appropriate.
- Tool was removed -- An Admin may have removed the tool from the catalog entirely.
Tips
- Use My Tools as your daily launchpad -- bookmark it for quick access to every tool you need.
- If a tool's status changes to Deprecated, it may be phased out soon. Check with your Admin about replacement tools.
- The My Tools page only shows tools with approved access. To browse the full catalog, visit the Tools page instead.
